Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Gingerr collects, why, and how long we keep it. Short version: we use your videos only to make your edit, we never use them to train AI models, and we delete them after 7 days.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Videos and voice notes: the files you upload, the instructions you type or record, and the videos we make.
- Usage: how many videos you made and when (to apply your plan's limits), and basic technical logs such as IP address and browser, used for security and abuse prevention.
- Payments: handled by our merchant of record. We receive your plan and subscription status, never your card number.
How we use it
- To transcribe your video, plan and render your edit, and show you the result.
- To sign you in, apply plan limits, prevent abuse, and send service emails (sign-in codes, “your video is ready”).
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use your videos, voice or transcripts to train AI models.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the Service, only for the purposes above:
- Neon (database and file storage, United States)
- ElevenLabs (speech-to-text)
- Google Gemini API (planning the edit from the transcript and a few video frames)
- Resend (email delivery)
- Our payment provider / merchant of record (billing)
- Google (only if you choose “Continue with Google”)
How long we keep it
- Uploads, voice notes, previews and finished videos: deleted automatically 7 days after upload. You can delete a video sooner.
- Account and usage records: kept while your account exists, so plan limits work. Usage counts may be kept after account deletion to prevent abuse of free plans.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at gingerr.help@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have additional rights, which we honor.
Cookies
We use only necessary cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one that links an upload to your browser before you sign in. No advertising cookies.
